Awful. Bottle of coke turned up warm and food was cold! Had a leaflet through the door thought we would try it. Will not be ordering again.

If there was a no star option that's exactly what I would be selecting. Markyate spice what has happened the last two times I have ordered the food has been appauling, after the first bad experience I thought we would try again as it could have been an off day but tonight's food has put me off for life. First of all I ordered at 710pm I called at 832pm to enquire where my food was asked when I ordered how I ordered and my address then my name to then be told oh its just leaving the shop now, (I live 2 minutes drive from the shop kids in bed so couldnt collect) I left it 15 minutes and called back this is now 1 hour and 40 minutes since I ordered to be told oh its just leaving now. Food arrived 5 minutes later I had ordered a large shish kebab - pitta hadn't been warmed up, 6 chucks of chicken which one of them was so grisly it could not be chewed. Chips were hard and very oily. Donna meat did not taste right garlic bread was ordered with cheese however no cheese on the bread. You have lost a loyal customer as I will not be returning again.

I order from the grill a lot and tonight it was absolutely awful I live in the village and both meals have turned up freezing cold and not at all nice. This is the second time it's happened now I don't think I'll be returning

I live in Markyate I have read the reviews I cannot understand how some people leave so bad reviews. I regularly eat from Grill the food is excellent service is top notch. The Boss is so courteous and welcoming. I just love that place. Markyate has been crying out for a place like this for years food is fresh quick delivery service. Thank you Yash.

Excellent chicken was lovely and moist chips hot and not greasy. Plenty of food and pots of dips. And delivered within 40 minutes of ordering! Will definately use again and recommend. Thank you.

Very nice Burgers. My kids enjoyed it a lot. 5 star food hygiene rating. Very clean place nicely decorated.

Bootiful chicken . Kebabs not greasy unlike the chippie. Cooked perfectly to high standards. My sister from America just loved it. Very polite customer service. Delivery on time . The village has been crying out for a place like this. Keep it up boys.

Dont normally review anything but felt i owed it to the good people of markyate wha utter sh***e tried the piri piri before resonanable at best but wouldn't use again .So tonight after much debate we said we would try the kebab what a mistake .Stale pita looked a week old bland kebab no extra salad as ordered went in the bin after pushing round the plate for 5 mins and not cheap either hopefully they can have a whip round to send chef to catering school

First time ordering, lovely food, quick delivery. Second time I preordered online at 4pm by 6.30pm, there was still no food. My order placed online was till ‘’pending’ 2 hours later. I tried calling several times to be sure it went through and no answer at all. I had to assume my order wasn’t going to arrive at all. I took my money elsewhere. Wont be using them again. Unreliable and uncontactable.

First order last month was great. 5 stars. 2nd order this month not so good. Only a sprinkle of soggy lettuce for salad on kebabs this time. Shame.

Shocking! Dont waste your time. Flavourless and missing items then lying about dropping off missing items ! Wont last long in this village !
